3 1/2 months in the hospital, 30 surgeries and 2 years of recovery set me up for success. I learned where the bottoms is, and what I found was the love of my family, friends and all the reason for living I'd ever need.

 

My story of recovery has been portrayed to hundreds of millions of people in "Waiting All Night" by Rudimental, and it accurately depicts

the suffering and joy of struggling through the difficulties.

 

It taught me that we cannot avoid what life is going to throw at us, but we can control the way we cope with it, find value in it, grow from it and share with each other what we've learned.
